Reflexology
WHAT IS REFLEXOLOGY?
Reflexology is a well established complementary therapy which treats the whole body through reflexes in the feet or hands.
These reflex points relate to specific organs of the body. Using a series of gentle non-invasive pressure and point stimulation techniques blockages are cleared and the free flow of vital energy to the whole body stimulated, enhancing the immune system and promoting natural healing abilities.
By treating the feet or hands the whole body receives a healing and rebalancing treatment.
THE HISTORY OF REFLEXOLOGY
Reflexology dates to ancient times in Egypt, India and China. In 1913 the Amerian doctor William Fitzgerald introduced this therapy to the West. His ideas were further refined by Eunice Ingham. In 1960 Doreen Bayley introduced Reflexology to Britain.
TREATMENT
The treatment combines gentle foot massage and general Reflexology pressure techniques, according to your needs.
The whole treatment is very relaxing inducing deep relaxation and calming effects, giving you more energy to cope with day-to-day stress. Reflexology is suitable for all ages. Many doctors, consultants and health care practitioners recommend Reflexology as one of the effective complementary therapies.
