Yoga at The Chandos Clinic

Yoga is a great way to develop and maintain strength and flexibility. It can be adapted to be suitable for people at any stage of life and any level of fitness. At the Chandos Clinic, we offer a gentle and safe form of yoga. The emphasis is on modifying the yoga postures (asanas) so that they are tailored to the specific needs of each student, depending on their particular anatomy and health history.

With just a few one-to-one yoga sessions, you will come away equipped with your own unique yoga practice that you can do in your own time and space, which accommodates your individual needs.

The sessions are taught by registered osteopath and qualified yoga teacher Mala Balani. With more than twenty years experience of various kinds of yoga, and more than ten years experience as an osteopath, Mala can design a practice to help you develop your strength and flexibility and gain greater confidence in your own body and in your practice of yoga. She can also help you develop a targeted stretching regime that will complement your chosen sport and help to counteract the physical stresses and strains that regular sporting activities can build up in our bodies.

Yoga is available at the Chandos Clinic on Saturday mornings. Mats and equipment are provided. Please wear stretchy clothing.

One-to-one: £60 for one hour.
